When both employers and employees agree on where work should happen, making changes later can be challenging. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, when many people suddenly started working from home, the House of Representatives thought it was important to give employees more say in where they work. They proposed a new law called the “Work Where You Want Bill”. In preparation for these changes, many employers have already made their remote work policies more flexible.
In this podcast, Sander and Jasper talk about what’s happening now, the recent vote on the Bill in the Senate, and what employers need to do if an employee wants to work remotely.
